About Us
South Pointe Gallery offers a fine collection of original posters dating from the turn of the century, with particular emphasis on French posters. Each piece is hand selected with a careful eye toward design and condition. We do not sell reproductions.
For three years we participated in various prestigious antique shows throughout North America. We have now opened a beautiful gallery at the southernmost city of Key West! Please stop by if you are in the area. We are still participating in select antique shows. Please see our antique schedule for further information.
We welcome the novice, the decorator and the collector. Our mission is for you to fall in love with posters!
The Gallery Sisters:
Betsy Greene has a passion for art and antiques. Through the years she has married business and fine art. She graduated with a business degree from Babson College, art history courses at Wellesley College and art study abroad in Florence. Betsy worked at Sotheby’s in New York City, Concord Museum in Boston, and the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Finally, before opening her own business she worked at a vintage poster gallery in Hawaii. This wealth of experience has allowed Ms.Greene to create a unique and integrated company.
Lesley Greene grew up with an innate ability to create and design. She developed her talents with a degree in art education at the University of Dayton. After college, she taught elementary art in Atlanta. Continuing her career, she moved to Nashville where she worked at "At Home Nashville", a high end decor and design store. She adds an eye for design and for helping our customers incorporate their posters into their homes.
Tracey Greene joined us recently and has fine tuned our business. She graduated with a business degree from the Unversity of Dayton as well. Tracey worked at Halcyon, an automotive remanufacturing company, in business operations. Key West tempted her to leave Nashville to have the opportunity to help start up a gallery and manage the new collection.
