Jerzy Flisak was a prolific Polish-born poster artist who worked as an illustrator, designer and cartoonist in the late 1900s. His iconic artwork on this foreign movie poster titled "IGROK", is among his most collectible works. Igrok, released in the United States as "The Gambler" is a Czechoslovakian melodrama directed by Aleksey Batalov. This seedy film follows main character, Nikolay Burlyev, as he battles a fierce gambling addiction within the unforgiving walls of every local casino on the map.

His game of choice? Roulette, of course. As portrayed by Flisak's whimsical art of a darkened silhouette brimming with roulette wheels. The neutralized green foreground reads beautifully against the teals and corals of this forsaken mans inner-workings. Fantastic color choices by famed artist, Flisak.

This vintage 1973 artwork is the pop of color your walls have been waiting for.
