"Otello" based on "Othello" by William Shakespeare, was an opera developed by Italian playwright Giuseppe Verdi in the late 1960s. Going on to spin a stage tour all its own, "Otello" made waves when it landed at the Polish Opera House, namely Teatr Wielki in Warsaw, in the fall of 1968.

Not only is this intriguing poster a fabulous representation of a renovated Shakespearean classic, it also has the fortitude of sporting a stunning design at the hands of noteworthy Polish illustrator, Jan Lenica. We don't know what we love more, the impeccable color choices, or the illustrator! Just look at the movement along the enticingly intricate line work...

The perfect addition for the Shakespeare fan or lover of the opera in your life.
