In 1917, artist James Montgomery Flagg created one of the most iconic war posters of all time with the phrase "I want you for U.S. Army." The image of Uncle Sam pointing his finger at the viewer was designed to recruitment soldiers for the American Army during World War I. The poster features the printed phrase "Nearest recruiting station" with a blank space below to add the address for enlisting. The original version was created for WWI recruiting efforts; this poster version was used during the Vietnam era, and is dated 1975.

This vintage poster is a powerful piece of history that would make a great addition to any vintage political poster collection.
