"Mademoiselle" was a passionate French melodrama first released in France in the Spring of 1966. Directed by English director Tony Richardson, "Mademoiselle" follows the story of a lustful villager who falls repeatedly into carnal catastrophe.

This phenomenal illustration was designed by no other than Franciszek Starowieyski for the first-release of this film in Poland in the Fall of 1970. Renowned for his stray from typical Polish poster art, Starowieyski made waves in the later half of the 20th century for his remarkable and expertly crafted ominous illustrations.

Seeing himself as a more of a messenger than artist, Starowieyski sought to peel back the layers behind each films true message, and in turn breathe new life into each cinematic crux on paper.

This poster will look spectacular once framed.
