Les Espions

Les Espions, released in English-speaking countries as "The Spies", was a 1957 French comedy directed by Henry-Georges Clouzot that starred Curd Jergens. With French-born director Henry-Georges Clouzot largely referred to as the "Hitchcock of France" it comes as no surprise that his films were quick to become a smashing success!

When a shifty French psychiatrist is short on cash to fund his private clinic, there's no telling the lengths he will go to get the funding he so desperately needs. It isn't long before a NATO intelligence agent appears on his door step to make him a cash offer he can't refuse; before we know it our favorite shady psychiatrist has no choice but to return the favor by harboring a raving Soviet-bloc scientist before enemy forces close in!

The graphics on this gorgeous 1957 poster are next to none. Fantastic color choices and detailing on this timeless film classic. We can't help but wonder what else could be hiding under that harrowing coat!
