8 1/2, released in the United States as "Federico Fellini's Eight and a Half", is an Italian autobiographical melodrama directed by Federico Fellini himself. With Fellini nominated for the Academy Award for Best Director, it's no wonder this Italian film made such a name for itself in 1963!

With this film centered around a traditional Italian Guido and his many mistresses and erotic fantasies, Fellini was quoted having said, "You will see yourself in the leading role as though you were looking in a mirror.." How remarkably Italian of him!

A stray from the original design, this beautiful movie poster marks the 1989 first-release of this film in Poland. Sporting artwork by no other than famed graphic artist Andrzej Pagowski, it's no wonder we're so captivated by its ominous yet alluring demeanor. Not to mention, upon a closer look you'll note what appears to be a jesters face emerging from the silhouette of this white-gloved signore. With the Poles renowned for their use of allegory and allusion, it comes as no surprise that this piece is quick to draw an eye from every angle. Incredible!

This black and white vintage piece will look remarkable in any home.
