Bitter Campari... Italian aperitif extraordinaire! Bitter Campari is a branch of aperitifs that gets its name from infusing herbs with alcohol, and distilling it until a unique bitter flavor is achieved. Known to stimulate the appetite, aperitifs are traditionally dry, rather than sweet.

Designed by Italian artist Carlo Fisanotti - known professionally as "Fisa", this iconic 1957 Bitter Campari poster boasts an attitude of refinement all its own. The crimson hues of the bottle take centerstage as it is cascaded by a dramatic burgundy gradient to its exterior.

No doubt this glorious Italian alcohol poster will command any space it is lucky enough to inhibit. Signed in the top right hand corner.

Condition: Very Good. Poster has never been folded. Soft background creases in lower quadrant. Minor unobtrusive scuffs. Conservation mounted on linen. Minor wear may be difficult to view due to contrast in photo, additional photos available upon request.

Year: c.1957 - 67 years old
