If you're a fan of classic westerns, this vintage movie poster designed for the 1949 release of "Streets of Laredo" in Japan is a must-have for any collection.

Directed by Leslie Fenton, "Streets of Laredo" stars a talented cast including William Holden, William Bendix, Macdonald Carey, Mona Freeman, and Alfonso Bedoya. The film tells the story of three rangers who team up with a feisty blonde bombshell to fight against a corrupt sheriff and his gang in order to restore justice to their town.

The poster features striking artwork that depicts the three reckless rangers fighting for life and love in the heart of Texas. The bold Japanese characters and vibrant color choices make this poster a standout piece that will add character to any room.

What makes this poster even more unique is the fact that it was produced during the post-World War II period when American films were being distributed for the first time in Japan. As such, the poster includes two "Motion Picture Export Association" stamp in its upper right hand corner, making it a fascinating cultural artifact as well as a beautiful piece of film art!

Condition: Very Good. Original horizontal fold has been professionally restored. Minor fading along original fold line. Light toning in accordance with posters age. Minor print bleed onto linen in lower left hand corner that will be covered when framed, has no affect on poster. Conservation mounted on linen. Please use zoom feature to get a better understanding of overall condition.
