Considered one of the most iconic founding members of the abstract style, "Tachisme", Pierre Tal-Coat made a mark on the French art scene with his endless pockets of innovation that caught like wildfire during WW2 and into the late 1950s. Derived from the French word "Tache" (a splash, or stain), "Tachisme" was the European equivalent to America's abstract expressionism movement.

Galerie Maeght, located in Paris, France, vaunts regality like no other. The stunning Tal-Coat exclusive design on this 1950s exhibition poster boasts simplicity at it's finest. Each reductive choice only allows the ivory palette to shine. The playfulness exchanged between the crimson and forest green swatches simply breathes new life into this fantastic 70-year old exhibition poster.

This classic exhibition poster will look spectacular hanging in your home.
