Nice-Côte D'Azur

This vintage art exhibition poster designed by French artist Jean Cocteau is simply spectacular!

Exposition Nice-Côte D'Azur debuted on December 8th 1954, and ran until January 16th 1955 at the TWA Salon located on 101 Avenue Des Champs-Élysée, in Paris, France. With tickets costing only 150 Francs, or a little under 10 US dollars, this was certainly an exhibition you didn't want to miss!

Featuring a poised primitive design with a refreshing dash of a pastel palette, the refinery in Cocteau's compositional style is next to none. With what appears to be head-to-toe freckled panel couture, we're almost distracted from the sweet serenade about to escape this marvelous monsieur's lips! Oh and did we mention his magnificent golden cape? We can't find one thing not to love about this vintage 1950s gem.

A fantastic, refined edition to any home. This vintage French exhibition poster will look fantastic framed. Signed in plate in the lower left hand quadrant. Printed by Mourlot, Paris.
