This stunning poster was originally designed to advertise The Rolling Stones 1969 tour, with Ike & Tina Turner, Terry Reid, and B.B. King as the supporting acts. Also that year, the Stones headlined the infamous Altamont Speedway Festival, rumored to be "The Woodstock of the West." Upon second glance, you'll notice that this poster doesn't actually have any tour dates listed, which would have been printed in the blank space at the bottom, but very few were actually used.

This fantastical artwork by David Byrd was inspired by photographer Muybridge's "Figures in Motion" series. It features a Romanesque woman engulfed in Islamic motifs as an ombre gradient frames her curvature.

You don't want to miss out on this piece of Rock and Roll history.

Condition: Very Good. Very minor border fading. Printed on light card stock.
