Dracula: A Musical Nightmare... how alluring! Or... absolutely terrifying?

This spooky poster was designed to advertise our favorite villain hitting the big stage. Debuting at the Zephyr Theatre in 1978, Dracula: A Musical Nightmare, starred actor Joe Spano as Dracula himself. Based on the book by Douglas Johnson, Director John Marion took Melrose by storm with this terrifying tale and stage side production. The Zephyr is a small venue theater (74 seats) which opened in 1956 and was originally called the Horseshoe Stage. It has been a working stage ever since, hosting plays, musicals, readings, workshops, live comedy, and performance-based classes. For more than 50 years, the Zephyr has been a mainstay of the Los Angeles, California theater.

Fabulous vintage graphics by American artist George Freeman. Looks like our favorite fright fest is just waiting to happen! Just one last thing... are we too late to get tickets to the show?

Condition: Good. Age toning in accordance with posters age. Small pieces of tape on backside of each corner. Small scuffs and light staining. Minor border wear and tear.
