Richard Vermout le Chambéry is a type of vermouth made by G. De Andreis Co. in Marseille, France, one of their best-selling products of all time.

Vermouth is a delicious, yet mysterious drink. It's made by adding herbs to wine and then fortifying it with distilled alcohol like brandy or vodka. The most popular varieties are dry vermouth (which is usually served on its own as an apèritif) and sweet vermouth (often used for mixed drinks). The first modern version of this beverage was produced in Turin Italy during the 17th century which has since become famous around the world! (Wiki)

The pops of orange cascaded by a spill of sea-green capture the landscape in this classic vintage 1930s alcohol advertisement. The soft yellows allow for the blue block text to practically leap off the poster! Art by none other than Bertrand Bataille. A fabulous addition for your kitchen, restaurant, or bar!

Condition: Very Good. Minor border fading. Lower border tear professionally restored. Conservation mounted on linen. Top portion of the poster has been previously trimmed.
