Bill Graham

Bill Graham ran the Fillmore and Winterland venues in San Francisco from the mid-1960s onward, and the concert posters he commissioned became some of the most recognizable graphic work of that era. Artists like Wes Wilson and Victor Moscoso developed a visual language for those shows, with psychedelic lettering and saturated color that was as much an event as the music itself. The pieces shown here are period originals from that run.
