The David Singer Collection

David Singer came up through the Fillmore poster tradition, designing concert bills for Bill Graham's San Francisco venues at the peak of the psychedelic era. Where some of his contemporaries leaned into liquid lettering and dense color, Singer developed a cooler, more surrealist sensibility, often building images around unexpected juxtapositions and precise photographic collage. The period originals shown here are from that run, printed when the shows were happening.
