Philips was renowned for its captivating and cheeky advertisements in the second half of the 19th century. Needless to say, this "Géante" (Giant) bubblegum pink elephant is certainly no exception!

Designed to advertise their new "Giant" televisions with a 25-inch display (you read that correctly), this unbelievable 1966 poster is truly a piece of history! With their new television displays "as big as an elephant" its no wonder Philips found its way in so many fortunate homes in its heyday.

With French artist and sculptor Fix-Masseau known for his famed deco-inspired travel posters, this is certainly a new look for the artist, and even more desirable. We've never seen one like this before! Talk about having an elephant in the room (a huge pink one that is)...

Condition: Very Good. Light fading along original fold lines that have been professionally restored. Faint printer spotting on elephants face and on left side of top text. Conservation mounted on new linen. Please use zoom feature to get a better understanding of posters overall condition.

Year: c.1966 - 58 years old
