Bataclan- Teatro Gianduja

Named after a famed operetta written by French composer Jacques Offenbach, Ba-Ta-Clan is a French theatre located in Paris, France. Designed in 1864 by architect Charles Duval, Ba-Ta-Clan reigns with a century-and-a-half legend of hosting some of the most iconic performances in history.

However, interestingly enough, this phenomenal 1950s circus poster is actually advertising a Ba-Ta-Clan inspired show at the Teatro Gianduja, located in Turin, Italy. What a rare sight!

Designed by Italian artist Romano, we've certainly never seen one like this before. The delicate ivory foreground allows the eager man adorned with a silky-red bowtie to simply leap into the frame. How wonderful!

A must-have for the stage performer or theatre enthusiast in your life.

Condition: Good. Faint horizontal printer stripe along lower quadrant. Age toning in accordance with posters age. Minor background marks and small scuffs in lower left hand quadrant. Linen backing is slightly peeling on outer right hand border, this will be trimmed off when framing and does not effect the overall poster. Conservation mounted on older linen backing. Please use zoom feature to get a better understanding of posters overall condition.
