Down in San Diego

"Down in San Diego" was a 1941 Pre-WW2 Nazi vs. Navy drama directed by American director Robert B. Sinclair, and based on the novel by Franz G. Spencer.

Starring Bonita Granville and Ray McDonald as two star-crossed lovers, this romantic melodrama takes us on countless twists and turns as a young sailor (played by McDonald) fights to protect his country, love interest, and rank as enemy forces close in.

Note, that this film was released in August of 1941, aka before the United States had officially entered into WW2 - How's that for a piece of history! Fantastic graphics on this red, white and blue naval classic.

This gorgeous piece of Americana will frame beautifully. Not to mention, if you're "Down in San Diego" ... don't forget to come stop by our show room as well!
