Divers, are a reoccurring theme for British-born poster artist, Willard Fredrich Elmes. "Those who plunge headlong into their work come out with its prizes....Mean it and you will make it!" This authentic 1929 stone-lithograph boasts each colors proudly. Could Elmes have been inspired by the 1928 Summer Olympics that took place just months before this beauty hit its print run? We would love to know!

Designed by advertising agency Mather & Company, this poster was one of several which capitalized on the 1920s-era's fascination with enhancing efficiency in the workplace. This beauty was designed to be hung in factories, offices, and stores across the United States. If you look closely, you can see twinges of yellow highlights adorning this divers slim physique. The sea of green only adds to the ambiance. The artwork on this original is fantastic; this piece of art will look beautiful hanging in your home.
