68e Paris Motor Show (1981)

The Paris Motor Show is known as one of the oldest and most well-known and automobile events in history.

"Salon Dy Cycle et Du Motorcycle" as it is known in its native French, is a world-renowned exhibition that was first inaugurated in 1898. Located at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, this timeless motorcycle and automobile show has been a prime outlet for motor enthusiasts since its inception 120 years ago!

"The whole affair is presided over by three major themes: innovation - specifically e-mobility, design and sustainability" (Porte de Versailles Website).

Advertising the 68th annual meet-up of the international gear-head phenomenon, this vintage poster certainly highlights the the stars of the show. A myriad of colors dress our favorite two-wheeled inventions as they grease the gears of this rainbow chain. Fantastic artwork by Leo Kouper.
