Lolita, the famed 1962 Stanley Kubrick spectacular! Based on the 1955 Russian novel "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov, this harrowing melodrama served as a cautionary tale for younger audiences. Interestingly enough, Nabokov later wrote the screenplay for the film as well, which is notably very rare for an author!

Starring James Mason as a Professor who falls in love with Lolita, the 12-year old daughter of his landlord, it comes as no surprise that this film confronted censorship issues in countless countries upon its release.

With Lolita notorious for having to jump through hoops to get on the big screen, this fantastic film poster marks the films 1994 re-release in Japan. Featuring a warhol-esque image of actress Sue Lyon (Lolita), we find it impossible not to be captivated by the simple yet brilliant use of inverse imagery. Not to mention, the gorgeous Japanese characters on this piece elevate the artwork like no other!

This phenomenal film poster is exactly the pop of color your walls have been craving.
