Judge magazine was published in the United States from 1881 to 1947, and was best known for its satirical and often politically-charged content; its covers often featured eye-catching illustrations designed to capture readers attentions on crowded commercial shelves.

This fabulous cover was designed for the April 24, 1926 edition of the publication and was brought to life by celebrated artist Don Herold. Herold was an American humorist, writer, illustrator, and cartoonist who was best known for his witty and insightful observations about life and human nature. He was a prolific illustrator who's work appeared in a number of national magazines, including Judge, Saturday Evening Post, Life, and Collier's Weekly - and it goes without saying that his iconic cover art is highly collectible in modern day!

If we know one thing for certain, it's that at only 15 cents a copy, Judge's famed cover illustrations are simply dripping in vintage decorum. This fabulous nearly 100-year old cover art will frame beautifully in your home. Signed in plate in the lower left hand quadrant by Herold. *Please note that this listing is for the cover artwork, and not the magazine as a whole.
