Step back in time to the groovy 1960s with this original Bill Graham concert poster! Designed by the talented Bonnie MacLean, this poster is an authentic first-printing that advertises a two-day concert showdown that is sure to transport you to the era of psychedelia.

The first show, held at the Fillmore Auditorium on September 21st and 23rd, 1967, featured some of the most iconic bands of the era, including the thunderous Blue Cheer, the hypnotic Vanilla Fudge, and the groovy Sunshine Company. This was a time when music was more than just a form of entertainment - it was a powerful force for change, inspiring a generation to challenge the status quo and create a better world.

The second show, held at the prestigious Cow Palace on September 22nd, 1967, was headlined by none other than the iconic Donovan. With his soulful voice and mystical lyrics, Donovan was the voice of a generation, capturing the hopes and dreams of millions of young people around the world.

Bonnie MacLean's style was heavily influenced by her experiences at the Fillmore, where she was an integral part of the staff during its early days. Her love of lettering and natural artistic talent caught the eye of Bill Graham, who gifted her with an easel and art supplies for Christmas 1967, launching her poster artist career. Untrained in graphic arts, MacLean's early style evolved into ornate, Medieval-Gothic designs, with faces that exuded a trance-like serenity that spoke to the detached spirituality of the 1960s.

This incredible vintage concert poster is a fantastic piece of music history.
