Discover the abstract beauty of Georges Braque’s repertoire with this original exhibition 1953 poster from his show “Braque Graveur" at Galerie Berggruen.

The central graphic is a striking composition of color and form—a sharp, vivid yellow background sets the stage for a perching winged insect, symbolizing perhaps transformation or the fleeting nature of life. Dominating the scene is an oblong black figure, mysterious and commanding, adorned with white abstract scaling that adds a textural depth, pulling the viewer into a contemplative exploration of shape and symbolism.

This vintage exhibition poster served as a unique window into the creative genius of Braque, a contemporary of Picasso, making it a must-have for collectors and aficionados of modern art. Printed by the esteemed Mourlout, Paris.
