A fabulous Art Deco-inspired tour poster for the Rolling Stones at the height of their popularity, touring after the recently released "Exile On Main Street" album. This controversial and eventful tour was written about quite a bit over the years, including a never-released tour film by Robert Frank which featured sex and drugs, but very little rock and roll. The film was ultimately squelched by the band after a lengthy court battle (google "The Rolling Stones American Tour 1972" for some interesting reading). Fantastic artwork by John Pasche. This is the most reproduced poster of all the classic Pasche images and genuine originals such as this example are scarce.

Condition: Very Good

Year: c.1972 - 52 years old

Size: 25.0" x 37.5" (64cm x 95cm)
