Wow. This magnificent stone lithograph of a roaring male lion was printed by the C. Burckardt printing company in Weissenburg, France during the 1890s. This is part of a series of posters featuring whimsical images of animals, random Alsatian characters, and comical caricatures all designed in a stunning Art Nouveau style. Looking for a dazzling focal point? You found it.
