Argentina's graphic tradition grew up fast in the early 20th century, shaped by a large European immigrant population that brought printing culture from Italy, Spain, and Germany. Buenos Aires became the commercial center, producing advertising work, illustrated magazines, and travel imagery that rivaled anything coming out of Europe at the time.
