"Billy Liar", a story about a man who compulsively lies in order to escape into his very own dream world...ring a bell, anyone? Based on the 1959 novel written by Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall, "Billy Liar" went on to reach a fandom of adaptations all its own.

This phenomenal poster art in particular marked the films 1964 first-release in Warsaw, Poland. Designed by no other than famed Polish illustrator Waldemar Swierzy, this striking design of a boy in command is quick to acquiesce to its larger than life namesake. Known for his primitive-palette designs and distinct lettering, a myriad of illustrative imagination is quick to jump to the forefront on this 58-year old vintage film poster.

Needless to say, "Billy Liar" will make a fantastic addition for the day dreamer in your life.
