Marshall Plan

The Marshall Plan ran from 1948 to 1952, channeling American aid into the rebuilding of Western Europe after World War II. To build public support on both sides of the Atlantic, the program commissioned a sustained campaign of graphic work, producing posters and printed materials across more than a dozen countries. The result was one of the most coordinated government design efforts of the postwar era. The pieces shown here are period originals from that campaign.
