Fantastic! A frog playing guitar... why not?? This magnificent stone lithograph was printed by the C. Burckardt printing company in Weissenburg, France during the 1880s. This is part of a series of carnival panels featuring whimsical images of animals, random Alsatian characters, and comical caricatures all designed in a stunning Art Nouveau style. Stamped No. 206. Condition: Very Good. Age-appropriate wear, this poster consists of two sheets joined together, and is conservation mounted on linen. There is some light fading and foxing on previous fold lines.
